You’ve loved your Devon & Lang underwear... but what if we told you that, in 2026, it’s getting even better?

This past year, we made a series of upgrades that focus on what matters most when you get dressed: comfort you notice, quality you can trust, and sizing that makes choosing your fit simpler. Here’s an overview of what we're changing, why we're changing it, and what it means for your next order.

1) A fabric upgrade you’ll feel immediately

Introducing LENZING TENCEL™ Modal

We’re upgrading the main body fabric of our underwear to LENZING TENCEL™ Modal (not “regular modal”). The goal is straightforward: a softer, smoother feel and an even more premium handfeel, the kind of comfort you notice the moment you put it on.

You’ll still get the stretch and support you expect, but with a more refined finish and feel that holds up beautifully over time.

Why we’re making the switch

We chose Lenzing TENCEL™ Modal because it checks the boxes we care about, and the ones our customers care about too:

• More responsible sourcing (from responsibly managed forests with strong traceability)
• Lower environmental impact thanks to Lenzing’s “closed-loop” production approach (recovering chemicals and using less water and energy than typical modal production)
• More consistent quality (softness, strength, shrinkage)
• A smoother, silkier feel that feels more “luxurious” on your skin

2) Softer bands (because bands matter)

Even the softest underwear can be ruined by a waistband that feels stiff, scratchy, or overly tight.

For 2026, we’re introducing a new band design that incorporates micro nylon, creating a softer, more comfortable feel against your skin while keeping the supportive fit you want. This waistband holds up much better, with significantly reduced pilling and velcroing.

You'll notice a premium difference once you wear it.

3) Men’s anti-chafing inner-thigh panels: smoother and moisture-wicking

If you’ve ever dealt with thigh rub, especially on long days or warmer days, you know it can make or break your comfort.

In 2026, the men’s line will include extra-buttery-smooth, anti-chafing inner-thigh panels that are moisture-wicking and comfortable in motion. Our panel upgrade is all about real life: walking, working, travelling, commuting, and doing whatever your day throws at you.

4) Small improvements that add up

A few other thoughtful updates are coming along for 2026:

• Bria & Katrina gussets remain the same: 95% cotton for comfort, and 5% spandex for stretch.
• Bralette straps are softer and stronger than before.

These updates are subtle, but you’ll feel them where it counts: softer straps, the same breathable gusset you already love, and a smoother, more comfortable wear throughout the day.

5) A fit tweak - Katrina Everyday Thong Cut

For 2026, the Katrina Everyday Thong has an updated cut: it’s now narrower at the hip, making it ever so elevated in style.

If you prefer a sleeker look and feel at the hip line, this change will be a win, especially under fitted outfits.

6) Sizing updates for Bria & Katrina: more inclusive, more intuitive

A new size is here: 2X

We’re introducing 2X to our plus-size range for Bria & Katrina collections (men’s sizing is not changing).

Why? Many customers didn’t fit comfortably into either XXL or 3XL, so 2X fills that gap and makes the size range feel more complete.

Important note: XXL and 2X are not the same.

Plus-size naming is being simplified (Bria & Katrina only)

To better match common plus sizing used across brands, we’re removing the “L” from plus sizes for Bria & Katrina:

• 3XL → 3X
• 4XL → 4X

This is a naming clarity improvement to make ordering feel more consistent across other brands.

Bralette sizes are being updated for simplicity

Bralette sizing is being simplified so it’s easier to understand at a glance:

• XS/S → XS
• S/M → S
• M/L → M

Bralette coverage is being simplified, too

Previously, bralettes had three coverage levels depending on size. Moving forward, there will be two:

• XXS–XXL: Regular coverage
• 2X–4X: Extended coverage

An important sizing note: Check the size guide every time!

With the new 2X introduction and coverage updates, there are now two size guides: one for Devon + Lang Original underwear that does not have these updates, and one for Devon & Lang 2026 underwear with the changes. Before you order, check the size guide on the specific product page, so you get the fit you want the first time. Your size may have changed, especially with the bralette coverage updates and the addition of 2X.

What this means for you

• 2026 pieces should feel softer and more premium, especially the fabric and waistbands.
• Men’s styles get a comfort boost with improved anti-chafing, moisture-wicking inner-thigh panels.
• The Katrina Everyday Thong gets a slightly updated cut at the hip.
• Bria & Katrina sizing becomes more inclusive and easier to shop with the addition of 2X and simplified plus labels.
• Bralette sizing is simplified, and bralette coverage is now two clear tiers.
